FloridaBarristerJournal.Org is an independent legal publication devoted to serious analysis of law, courts, judicial institutions, and the forces reshaping legal practice in Florida and across the United States. Our purpose is build a community of legal professionals, legal scholars and other voices to examine how doctrines, individual courts, procedural and ethical rules, and the principals of precedent are maintaining their bedrock foundations, being challenged or how they are adapting within Florida and federal jurisprudence.

FloridaBarristerJournal.Org explores decisions of the Florida Supreme Court, Florida district courts of appeal, federal courts, and other tribunals whose rulings influence Florida law. The publication also examines judicial appointments, judicial philosophy, merit selection, and the appointment of Florida circuit judges before election.

Additional areas of focus include the Florida Constitution and its application to contemporary legal disputes, institutional authority, and proposed amendments, as well as proposed and enacted changes to Florida statutes, court rules, procedural systems, and regulatory frameworks.

FloridaBarristerJournal.Org also addresses developments in legal ethics, professional responsibility, court administration, access to justice, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital evidence, electronic filing, and the technological infrastructure reshaping legal practice. The publication further considers legal treatises, scholarly commentary, law-review articles, and emerging legal questions that warrant deeper examination.

Publication Opportunities on Florida Barrister Journal

FloridaBarristerJournal.Org welcomes original submissions from law students, law professors, attorneys, judges, legal professionals, researchers, and others with relevant expertise.

Submissions may include:

• Law-review articles and independently prepared scholarly papers
• Analysis of judicial opinions, statutes, constitutional questions, or proposed reforms
• Commentary on judicial administration, legal education, ethics, technology, or professional practice
• Essays presenting competing views on unresolved or controversial legal issues
• Responses to previously published articles

Articles should be clear, well supported, and written for an informed legal audience. Authors should identify primary authorities and distinguish established law, reported facts, professional opinion, and unresolved questions.  While the use of AI for purposes of editing any submission, it should not be used as a primary drafting tool and citations, authorities and other sources of factual and legal support are the author’s responsibility.

The publication is committed to accuracy, fair attribution, and meaningful correction of material errors. Requests for corrections should identify the article, the statement at issue, and the supporting authority or documentation.

Articles may be updated, corrected, clarified, or withdrawn when appropriate. Any material revision should be transparently noted.
